Standard Data

We have a number of courses at wrk to which I have to continually refer to. Try as I mght, I simply cannot remember the names of them!
There are Programme Handbook's, Course Modules, Schemes of Work. My colleague keeps referring to them and I cannot relate to which is which! I think it is beginning to agitate her.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I may be able to code what they are and memorise going forward? I m thinking about laying them out and putting "Post It" label on them ......

Recalling Data
I notice that no-one has responded to my last posting in this area, but I really want to try and resurrect this issue and start a debate.
This week a colleague at work asked me about a document we had discussed earlier in the week. I couldn't locate what she meant mentally and needed to get her to send the document again. Needless to say, once she had, I immediately locked on to what she meant.
If the subject/data in question is of interest/relevance to me and in my area of memory recall (i.e. something that resonates with my Asperger attention, interest etc), I can code, retain and recall with ease. I am sure that people here will know what I am refrring to.
However, when it is not, I really struggle. In my current work context I am not being put under any pressure and so it doesn't result in any anxiety.
However, it other, more pressurised contexts it most certainly does and can really damage my standing as a manager.
If anyone has any thoughts or ideas about how to overcome this I really would like to hear them.
Re: Recalling Data
You can, like you said in your previous posting, use post-it notes. You can also (if you have time and willing to do this) write out and summarize everything into one document so you'll have a "cheat sheet" to go to when needed. At work I try to keep all of my e-mails and important references in a known area so I can get them when I need them. I have to watch because I tend to be a "pack rat" and things get messy and cluttered.
Using Something
This issue re-surfaced again this week.
I had put some deadlines in my electronic diary a few months ago but had forgotten all about them.
The problem I am finding is that I need to actually "do" something pretty much immediately if I am to code and retain the information. Simply listening to someone then placing it on the back burner for later doesn't enable me to code and retain.
Not sure how I can overcome this: start physical diary with all the key dates, responsibilities and actions on it and to which I continually - weekly - refre perhaps?
