Dyscalculia
I am not sure that this topic is wholly related to memory, but it is probably the best/closest available forum area where it can be posted.
Its about dyscalculia or number blindness and is the numerical equivalent of dyslexia - words.
The reason why I am posting here is because I was having some difficulty adding some numbers to a spreadsheet the other day, or perhaps more pertinently, getting them mixed up when adding them.
It reminded me of a particularly similar, stressful occurence whilst working at the BBC. Then too I was working on a spreadsheet that required me to update the numbers on a regular basis, but this alsoo caused me a great deal of difficulty.
I was wondering if anyone else had experienced anything similar and if, as a result, this was in some way connected to As and the Asperger mode of thinking?
