Being Agreeable and Business Success

I have just read an article on how agreeable - or nice - bosses won't get on in business.

One of the key reasons for this, it is asserted, is that they lack the unsentimentality and ruthlessness to make the required, difficult decisions.

I can see what the author of the article means from the perspective is from having Asperger syndrome, but am not sure that I entirely agree. I will explain why in a piece that I am writing for my next newsletter.

I would welcome any comments or feedback on this assertion as I think that it is a key subject/issue for a manager with AS.
